Game Boy Radio (?)

I found the scans and the following snippet at below at Game Boy (Oh Boy!):

" Attached is some scanned images of the radio attachment. On the back is written "Model No: GB-12FMT, Frequency: 88-108 MHz, and Made in China".

This radio uses the game Boy's power supply, but is otherwise a self-contained radio. There is a jack on the side for earphones. The red LED blinks when it is tuned to a stereo FM broadcast. I have also been told there is a model for the Game Boy Color as well, but have no info on that yet. I was also told that this was released in the UK as well (are the broadcast bands different?)
