This is a one really neat accessory any GB fanatic should own. The X-Changer and the Doctor GB Cards allow you to transfer ROM images on your PC to the Doctor GB Card FlashROM carts for play on a real Game Boy, as well as dump ROM images from ROM cartridges for play on an emulator on your PC. Just hook it up to your PCs parallel port, insert 6 AAA batteries or an AC adaptor, insert a Card, and off you go; the unit comes with all necessary software for exchange. You can also program your own GB games (Bung provides some tools on their website, but I assume it is still quite a complex task), and dump them to the FlashROM cart for play on a GB. Of course, if we can be frank here, the former purpose is *really* why most buy these devices :)
The Doctor GB Cards come in 3 sizes, 4MBit, 16MBit, and 64MBit. You can put more than one game per FlashROM cartridge and you can select games on them via a menu. The X-Changer and Cards work with original GB, SGB enhanced, and CGB cartridges and hardware, so intercompatibility is no problem.
