Well, here we are, all moved in at our new home. I would like to
thank Dragon Games for their generous contribution of space for this site. Now, there is
no more "Xoombar" crap, and the speed should be radically improved. This site
will also have a new look and feel as well, however, I didn't have time to really work on
it as of late; this last week as been a total mess and I haven't had time to work on this
site. I know I didn't add the backup units yet, I will very soon, sorry.
In case you didn't hear, |tsr announced he his retiring from doing his excellent NES
Archive. I'd like to say thanks to |tsr for the excellent job he has done over the past
few years, and for being the inspiration behind this site. Good luck in whatever you
prusue in the future, Super Joe.
Added 2 new lawsuits to Nintendo Lawsuits page

Added a bunch of new pirate carts here and there. Also reorganized pirate section, single NES and FC pirate carts split into 2 and 3 sections, respectively. Now load times should be faster, and easier for me to update
Added Snake Rattle and Roll and 10 Yard Fight manuals to manuals section
Added a scan of the StarTropics letter which came with the game to the manuals section (can someone somehow send me a scan of this after it has been dipped in water to show the secret message?)
Added a scan of the Action 52 games list which came with the game to manuals section
Added a bunch of new controllers to controllers page
Added lots more NES<->FC adaptors to adaptors page

Happy New Year! In celebration that the word did not, in
fact, come to an end, here is some cool Nintendo stuff y'all crave. Also, I am now a
college graduate, and still unemployed, so I have lots of free time to update this site
from now on. In fact, I plan a major overhaul to the site in the near future... this site
is becoming the MAME of Nintendo sites (in terms of size and organization, not technical
prowess or quality of course). I hope to go through and clean up all the broken links,
reformat and so on.
Oh, here is the link for the MS Excel format NES/FC cart
list, sorry about that
Also, please send in any VB stuff you might have, I only have a manuals section right now.
If you have any scans, pics, whatever, please send them in.

Added a whole bunch of new NES and FC pirate carts, both multi and single, to the NES/FC pirate pages. I also added the pirate NES multi section, finally. Big thanks to Amos amos@hmc.com.hk for many of the scans, as well as toot of NES Information Insemination. I have about a gazillion more of these to add, so look for lots more NES/FC in the future, as we;; as layout changes ass each section becomes too big to manage as one page. Also, if any of these pages is a significant problem for you load, please let me know and I will further split the pages into more reasonable sizes (I really should use thumbnails instead of the whole large pics in reduced sizes, but making thumbnails for every one will take forever I am afraid)
Updated NES/FC cart list, added a bunch of PAL games, as well as some Sachen unlicensed NES carts found in Europe, anyone know more about these?

Here are some more goodies for you guys, unfortunately with finals coming up... time is going to be tight as hell. Look for a big update sometime after New Years, when I am done with school and moved back home... assuming the Y2K bug doesn't bring the end of the world (hehe).
BTW, does anyone know what the heck happened to SitC (Spirit in the Contraption)? They were at emu-land.dhs.org I was told, but the name doesn't resolve. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Sorry about lack of updates, I may have to update once a month for a while, the schoolwork load is crushing me right now. I also keep finding more info to add, so I always bump the update date forward so I can add the new stuff. I am out of school in two months, so it shouldn't be long, I hope.

A debate is ongoing as to whether the Super Pegasus is, in fact, a SNES pirate console, or if it is a pirate NES console. I think it is a pirate SNES console (but I certainly could be wrong), Mark_K says it is a pirate NES console. Does anyone know for sure?
Also, the SNES/SFC section has not been abandoned, I just haven't had a lot of new info to add. I don't want anyone to think I am abandoning it for the NES/FC only. The well of NES/FC stuff is much deeper than for SNES or GB or VB right now, so that is what I am working on. By all means, if you have any info for any of those systems, please send it in.
BTW, if anyone knows web addresses for pirate outfits, please pass them on, I haven't had luck finding them. Marten Nielsen knows of them, but didn't post them for obvious reasons.
Also, the link to the Virtual
Boy manuals is fixed, finally. Sorry about that.
